THE ROLE:
Manufacturing Plant Operator
- Conduct Daily pre-start checks of plant and machinery
- Maintain and monitor product levels
- Undertake maintenance on equipment
- Perform change overs when making difference products
- Lead and support workers to achieve production requirements
- Monitor and operate plant and production machinery
- Assist leading hands and supervisors as directed
- Assist with training and mentoring of staff
- Forklift operation and general labouring duties
REQUIREMENTS:
- High Risk Forklift Licence with proven operating experience
- Construction White Card
- Demonstrate a high mechanical aptitude. Trade or engineering qualification would be highly desired.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Health and Safety Awareness
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Proven reliability with strong work ethic
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Reliable, punctual and strong team player
- Able to take direction from Management and Supervisors
- Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen
- Have a Current Driver’s Licence and Reliable Transport
- Proof of right to work in Australia
